Below are brief descriptions of industry certification programs and what they mean so that you may familiarize yourself with these important certifications before meeting our Cruise Experts.
The most recognized nationally certified program for cruise consultants. This program offers four achievement levels: ACC (Accredited Cruise Counselor), MCC (Master Cruise Counselor), ECC (Elite Cruise Counselor), and ECCS (Elite Cruise Counselor Scholar).
A designation conferred by the Institute of Certified Travel Agents on travel professionals who have completed a rigorous five-part program of professional study and testing and attained at least five years of travel industry experience. CTCs must continue their education in order to retain their certification.
NCL University, a very comprehensive program offering three achievement levels: Freestyle Specialist, Freestyle Advanced Specialist and Freestyle Certified. Agents completing this program have a broad knowledge of all NCL products and itineraries.
There are two achievement levels: Bachelor of Adventure and Master of Adventure. Graduates are experts in Royal Caribbean ships, itineraries and onboard programs.
This program keeps agents up to date on all Celebrity ships, itineraries and features of the Celebrity Cruise products.
Graduates of this training program have extensive knowledge of Holland America Line's ships, itineraries, services and amenities.
There are four achievement levels: First Officer, Staff Captain, Captain and Commodore. Agents completing this comprehensive program are experts on all Cunard ships, itineraries and aspects of Cunard cruises.
Graduates of this program have a comprehensive knowledge of both Disney Cruise Line as well as Disneyland and Walt Disney World theme parks.
