Holland America Cruise Line believes strongly in family travel. They are so committed to child safety, empowerment and nurturing that they have been accredited by Praesidium, Inc., a national leader in child abuse prevention. Youth and teen activities are exciting, educational, fun and provided by Youth Staff holding degrees in education, childhood development, recreation, leisure studies or related fields.

Little ones will have a ball participating in treasure hunts, crafts, parties and more. Children must be at least 3 years of age and completely potty-trained.
Young cruisers will be very busy having fun and making new friends.
Tweens have their own interests and Holland America celebrates and encourages them with thrilling activities including tournaments, parties and more.
Friendly competition and teamwork are paramount in the Club Hal program. Kids will be energized and have a constructive way to release their enthusiasm.
Teens will love the challenging and creative activities offered just for them in their own space. From sports to cooking classes and everything in between there is always something to do onboard.
Parents can take in a show or stroll around the ship after dinner. There is an after - hours program for children registered in Club HAL running from 10pm to 12am. An additional cost for babysitting services applies.
This is a limited service provided by staff on a volunteer basis and may not always be available. There is a small surcharge and is only available to children under 5 years of age.
