Costa Cruises' cabins for guests with physical disabilities are truly havens of relaxation! They have been designed to offer easy access for wheelchairs and walkers, ensuring facilitated maneuverability. The bathrooms are equipped with all the necessary amenities: support bars and showers with retractable seat, plus washbasins and toilet seats installed in compliance with the heights stipulated in the current regulations.
Costa ships enable maximum ease of access to passengers with reduced mobility: the shared spaces and corridors enable our guests to move around in total freedom. Most of the decks are accessible via automatic doors, and all public spaces feature entrances with gradual gradients or can be reached by means of wide elevators.
Costa is the first cruise sector to offer fully accessible tours for the same price: our Adagio Tours. These tours are a result of the collaboration between Costa Crociere Foundation and AISM, with the aim of offering group excursions at a “slower” pace and itineraries with fewer architectural barriers, designed for people with accessibility needs. These tours are available at some of the most beautiful locations in the Western Mediterranean for 7-day cruises: Savona (for excursions to Genoa), La Spezia, Palermo, Cagliari, Civitavecchia (for excursions to Rome), Barcelona, Marseille, Palma and Naples.
Guests who use a wheelchair must contact Costa Customer Center to secure a seat on their coaches. Spaces are limited.
